The manual shows jacking points for the jack they provide. If I use the Nissan jack, I use those. If I'm using my hydraulic jack I use a piece of wood on the tip to help distribute the load. ESPECIALLY if I use a bottle jack, which I try not to, because of what happened to blazing's car. I put the tip and wood just INSIDE of those points and that works b/c those are where some of the seam welds are, and those points are some of the strongest points on the car.

all he said was he used a hydraulic jack, he didn't spec what kind. I'm just saying what I do, and I try not to use a bottle jack. I prefer the other kind that has the round/square/flat top.
