Engine Making Noise, happens always, always

Hi, everytime I turn my engine on, it makes an extremely loud whining noise. Its so horrible, everywhere i go people ask me what the heck is wrong with my car. Some have said it sounds like its going to blow up. Please help! Its extremely embarrasing.

The car also doesnt seem to really hold a charge too well. My AC/Air compressor is hooked up to a switch. When I turn it on, the noise gets lower. I leave it on sometimes by accident and car is dead. Battery doesnt really hold a charge or isnt charging enough. The power steering also seems to be weaker.

When making u-turns, it feels like the power steering isnt really working. Its really hard to make turns sometimes. Please help me!

I also found that on one of the motor mounts, a nut is missing for the long screw, and the screw was hanging halfway out. I got to push the screw back in the all the way, but the nut is missing. Any idea where I can find one or the size? After I pushed it back in, the problems still exhists.

The noise sounds like you have a belt slipping. The PS belt might be the one slipping - which might be why you are having steering issues.

You have a leak in the cooling system - fix it - no point constantly charging the A/C if you have a leak.

Go get a replacement motor mount bolt/nut from the dealer.

 

Oh yea check them belts..
