Question regarding 95-6 air intake.
Okay, i have been putting my car back to stock...i didnt have my original stock intake , so i swapped my aftermarket with a stock one from a 98 maxima. My question is, after having hooked up the 98 intake into my 96 i am left with one free connector. On the MAF there is only one connecting spot. However, i have two connecting plugs that neeed to be plugged in. Is there a difference between intakes for the 4th gen?

i see....my question is, is there any differences between the MAF for 95-6 models and 97-99 models? For some reason i have one connecting spot on my MAF and 2 plugs that are supposed to be connected. Obviously i plug one into the spot on the MAF, and my car runs fine. However, there is still a loose connector with no corresponding spot to plug it into on the MAF. As a result my check engine light will not turn off. Even if i disconnect the battery , the light just remains on. It has to have something to do with this spare plug. Any clues?

so where do you put the IAT sensor on a 95 with an aftermarket intake. I have the opposite problem, I am getting and aftermarket intake for my 95 and I need to know where to put the IAT sensor, because I know on most intakes there are not spots to screw something in...please let me know.

I actually grinded off all the metal on the IAT and stuck it down the plugged hole on the aftermarket IAT hole because it didn't have the 2 small screw spots and I didn't want to drill on the intake. I wonder if everyone complains about power loss with CAIs because they just zip tie the sensor to the intake and it just reads all the hot air from the engine bay instead it properly sitting in the intake after TB and before the MAF.
