a friend of mine told me that on his old 92 the gxe motor used a timing belt unlike the se and gle models that obviously used chains. my question is does this apply to 4th en gxe's also or is it using a chain like the upper models. thanks.

 

All models have the vq30de, which uses a timing chain.
