Finally i can post a Thread i love you MAx.org

I just wanted to say hi to all you guys.
I recently bought a 1995 Maxima GXE( autotragic), and I've been
wondering what i should do to my car,
guess i gon first hack the airbox keke.
and then get the rims ( is car parts.com ok?)
anyways i have gay hubcaps rite now, so i'm trying to
get some SE rims i think those are tight( i dont like custom rims any ways)
then get a CD player, not having one is pissing me off.
Just thinking i got 19.4 miles per gallon on my car is that pretty fair.
I know that Maxima isn's Civic..., but my mom's V6 99 camry does over 27miles per gallon. and i believe that the two cars should do about same MPG rite? I drive super gently, what im saying is that I never floor (once in my life i did) my car. And I try to brake as little as possible. Is there any mod that might slightly increase the MPG, cuz i'm 17 yo college student, paying for my own gas and my school's pretty( not really) far away takes over an hour to get there, and i have to comute every day. I need help thx guyz

Ive been reading this site for over two years and just registered myself. I bought my 1998 GLE in the summer of 2001 and dont see myself parting with it for a long, long time. Ive only done some minor additions to it (new lights, added a sub, new brake peddles, stuff like that), have some in my queue (still have to put my clear corners in, still have to get the courage to put my reverse glow gauges in), and am looking to do my first major mod (lowering and upgrading the suspension as I talked about in the other thread).

Want to give the n00b whats up and a thanks to everyone who has helped me out (today and in the past when I was just a reader)

since your going to school save your money don't do any modds it gets addictive. just do your basic tune-up spark plugs ,air filter, fuel filter, oil changes, fuel injection cleaner every other oil change ,keep up with your oxygen sensors, and knock sensor.

Read the stickies, and do all the general maintanence. Fuel filter, air filter, tb/iacv cleaning, tire pressure is all in check, etc.
