AutoMagic Hurt

Before i rip into my haynes manual i wanted to post, for at first i thought my tranny was toast. It just seems like its not locking up the tranny in a gear at the right time, once in a gear, it drives smooth but also in higher rpm area. This all started happening after i did a tranny oil flush, i was short about 2.5 quarts when i finished and drove it to the store, of course i didnt know it was that low.. Even the mechanic said that wouldnt kill a transmission.... had a friendy mechanic look at it and he said the tranny isnt dead just some valve/electrical was bad. its very hard to get into 3rd and i cant access 4th. So i check the CEL, i got a 11-7, the 11-7 is for the A/T TTC Soleniod valve fault. Just lookin for any others that have had this problem and how the probelm was handled. Im going to try and do it my self if its just a little sensor/valve that needs replacing. First i need to find where it is and if i have to drop the tranny out.

Sounds like the tranny is in limp mode. That may have happened because of the low fluid level which will cause low line pressure.

Put fluid in it, clear the error code and see if it returns to normal operation.

it happen slowly over a 1 1/2 weeks and im pretty sure its the TCC, i have cleaned the codes and it still does it. Once in gear i can drive it but it so jerky i hate driving it for fear of blowing out a gear. Called the stealer ship today, he tells me i have to buy a sensors kit for the valve body for 385.25 which is all the sensors. i was asking the guy for nissan product numbers and he wouldnt give me any just kept stating i need to buy the kit, so i starting giving him a hard time. I have always hated the dealership i got my car from, they seems to be always trying to get your money. I found it in the FSM about replacing, I guess you drop the pan, screen and valve body and replace, dont have to drop tranny but for 385 bucks thats still alot when im all the labor. Im going to keep looking any feed back would be coool. should get the VB mod when the VB is already out ^_^;;

i drove to the store which was autozone, so was only low for about 2-3 miles and put in more ATF a week 1/2 ago. I think now it might be a mechanical problem i got an oms meter tonight and will check the connectors tomorrow once i can get the connector open. i hope a valve is stuck, if i dont have to drop the transmission ill be safe..........
