I was wondering what would happen if I unbolted the exhaust from the back of the catalytic conv. U know, if I removed both mufflers. What would it do to the sound and performance? Thanks for your thoughts and stufff...

 

Big increase in noise. Small increase in performance.

 

behind the cat is a resonator and then the muffler. when i got my muffler replaced, they also took out the resonator. we started the car up without antything after the the cat and it wasnt too loud, but considerably louder than stock.
