two air filter intake?

two air filter intake?

has anyone seen those intakes that split and have two air filters (ebay)
do these things produce more air? or just a piece of $hit

They do nothing... May as well buy a tornado... Or the split one and TWO tornados!!!!

u know what would be sweet it to take that two pipe thing and angle it right so the one end can go off and go down into the fender wall with another pipe cut up and you could have a custom short ram/ cold air setup LOL thatd be tight -Ryan

that's all it would be: custom. no gains. this has been discussed before. you can only fit so much air into a 3" pipe. it's not forced induction, so the engine will only pull in as much air as it would with a single filter. a K&N will flow the best. even if you had nice filters on this 'thing' only the first one would suck in the air, and the one on the end would barely be functioning.

maybe you should reply to the maker of this post and not to me. im not an idiot i read everything about it. i was just thinking it would be kind of funny to have both. and a double filter is the dumbest thing ive ever heard of. is there even a point to this thread? if you knew how an engine worked you wouldnt have made this thread
