Cut a slit into the screw with the engraving pen then use a flathead screwdriver to extract the screw. However, obviously the better option would be to get the extractor set, and if you don't want to buy one see if autozone or something has one to lend you or if your mechanic has one you can borrow.
The engraving pen is neat and I'll be picking one up someday but not anytime soon because I bought a $3,000 Snap-on toolbox yesterday
