I would like to help you out, but the link doesn't work for me.

EDIT: ahh, there we go. actually, I believe I have heard good things about this from 2 people who had over 2,000 posts a piece so they have been around the game for a while. it is steel and I think this one is worth the price.

i have this STS, the welds are quality, and the entire STS is made out of Stainless Steel not like the ones you hear in the horror stories which were made out of aluminum. i matched this with the Poly urethane bushing from *** and my shifter is as smooth as stock and much shorter

There we go. MR. DUCK was one of them. Where was the bushing from? *** doesn't make a whole lotta sense to me.

Yea, that one is a great deal, and is made out of steel, not aluminum and won't break mid shift. I have tried to install it twice but rust/corrosion have kept me from doing so. I got it for $27 shipped, and the only thing you need is a new nut and bolt. I can't wait to get this in my car.

I got mine for $20 shipped when they were running their free shipping deal. Awesome shifter. It was definately worth it. Like previously stated it is made out of steel, it will not break on you mid shift. This is not the crappy fake "nismo" STS you've seen there before.

I also have the t. e. t. (top element tuning) bushing in and I couldnt be happier with the combo.

1 note to remember when installing an STS, the catalytic converters heat shield will have to be dented in for the sts to fit.

^^^or can you just remove it? I'm planning on removing it completely. good? bad? and BigLou what nut and bolt do you need to get? any specs? and this top element tuning bushing. where is that from? is it necessary when putting in a STS, or just recommended? if so, what are the gains from it??
Thanks.

(this $21 deal is forcing me to buy it, so I gotta get all the details straight.)

the bushing from T E T is not necessary, but does make the shifter feel a lot less loose, and more precise, its up to you if you want to spend the money on it.
