Call the local auto-glass places... I think you should be able to get it done for 250 or so and most places will drive out to whereever the car is and do the job on-site.

Uhh, have the tailgaters pay for it...? Or is it too late for that now? Why wouldn't your deductible cover it?

Go get several bids. You will be surprised at the range of bids you get. Ask your favorite repair shop too.

well if you explain the situation it shouldnt be a BIG issue unless you get a really strict officer, but you could try to argue the sum of the ticket + cost of replacement for the deductible if it totals 500 bucks lol

i didtn get to see the guy do it because i was at work but my dad did. he said the guy seemed very concientious and what not.
i dont think there is any real trick to it, its a form of support to the cabin, is what the guy said apparently.
i trust it, it hasnt leaked, i mean what else could be wrong with it?

I paid in the neighborhood of $210 about 4 years ago from a local glass intaller. I called around several shops in and around Okc most were in the $250 range. I don't know what inflation has done to prices lately. Call around you should do better.

thats a lil too much for glass. Like the other orgers said, a lot of them are on site, they come to wherever your car is. It should be no more than $250. N also, make sure that they gaurantee that there will be no leaks n wind coming thorugh, my mom had a minivan done twice, first shop that did it we had to go back, but the second shop that did it no need to go back at all. You could hear wind coming in through the windshield which you're not suppose to. i guess they didn't put enough gaulk or whatever they call it
