Cleaning out throttle body

i have noticed that my acceleration in my car has been kind of delayed from the time that i hit the gas pedal and the time my car actually kicks in and starts moving faster. i think that my throttle body is dirty and needs cleaning so my car will idle faster and have a better response with the gas pedal.

However, the site on the stickies is not working for my computer...so i was wondering if it was just my computer or if the whole site was down in general.

i really need pictures and a step by step write up on how to do this so my car will respond a little better because my car has 88k on it.

if someone could just copy and paste the words and pictures to an email and just email me at Sportsmandan21@aol.com or if someone could please put the write up and the pics on this thread...

Thanks

PS. 88k is nothing. people here are running 250+ and they run like new or better

You may also want to retrieve the codes stored in the ECU (check the stickies)... you might have a bad knock sensor.

They are pricey for what they are and difficult to install. Not impossible, but difficult. If you pay to have it done you will be bent over.

when i had a bad KS i didnt notice any hesitation, but i always use 94 octane.
maybe you should try a 60k tune up? like oil change, fuel filter, spark plugs..

If it needs to be cleaned you'll feel the difference after you clean it. I clean mine more than I need to and I feel very little difference. But the first time I did it there was a big difference in accleration.
