Anyone port the stock intake manifold?

I have a spare one and was wondering if anyone has ported the intake and dyno'ed or noticed gains?

The price to do it for the minimal gains makes it a pretty rare mod.

If by port you mean Extrude Hone then I believe there is only one person, who may not even be around any more, that has gotten his stock IM ported/extrude honed. And I'm the only one to have the MEVI extrude honed.

And it Costs $650 plus shipping both ways. Unless of course you live where a company is that does it then you negate all the shipping.

Check out this
http://www.ceasarschariot.net/natop10.html

Several cars here have extrude honed IMs. Opening up the entire IM like this will raise the powerband, but at the loss of low RPM power.

A regular port job probably wont do much, but hey, give it a try and report back.

Thanks guys, I remember something about a guy EH'ing the IM but I know that is big cake. Wondering about simply porting but I guess the consensus is minimal gains. MEVI hear I come.

Not sure I feel like messing with the VI, I have installed a MEVI before and it was cake. It would be nice if someone would hookup a HOW-TO for the 00VI. We'll see I guess.

Oh with the 00VI you still need an aftermarket ECU right? Or something like the EManage Ultimate?
