e46 Bi-Xenon projectors.

All in all, it took me 20 hours total to do the job. I did it all at once too, since I only have one car & had to keep working until I am finished.

Too many details to list but the kind of work I did is the kind that I would never find anyone do. Not one cable is just "connected", everything is soldered together & nothing is just "hanging loose".

It's definitely not a job for someone that knows nothing about electronics or basically wiring. I have a bunch of wiring schematics that I've done along the way & will post them along with pictures of the finished job in the morning. (it's 1:11am here).

Pics to follow along with a wiring diagram for those interested.

Glad this job is over & I would definitely not want to do it again

OK. I'm still working on the wiring diagram(s) but some first pictures are here.

The cutoff is different than for you guys in the US since we have to have the right side of the road really light up. (you can see how the light goes up on the right side).

The projectors I was working on were from the US so I had to grind down the metal piece that's inside the projector (high beam, low beam) and once I made the 15° angle, they are now legal here.

It's not major. Just time consuming if you want it done right.

Wiring was a b!tch though.

Yes Sir.

LED tails are next (maybe even this weekend).

I was checking out your site & have one question.

When your lights are on & you step on the brake pedal, did you make it so the leds light up brighter?

(just moved here in July)

The whole reason for projectors was because there's no other way around inspection here. US headlights are different & the only way to make them "legal" is to put projectors in. I've seen many US cars on the roads that all had projectors put in.

Nope, it just lights up more rows. It would be nice to make um brighter when I hit the brakes but I like them they way they are.

great job on the install man, the projectors look great!

i've got a question though, don't you drive on the same side of the roadthere in Poland as we do here in the US? why did you have to alter the cutoff if thats the case then? also, did you ship your maxima from the US to poland?

good luck with the LED tailings. i did my own projectors but i'm not about to tacle a project like that. way too much wireing for me

ok. i'm going to have to make them light up brighter because of the cops here. They pull you over for every single detail in your car. your LED Tails are really well done

Thanks.

The cops here have not bothered me about it at all. I have had many behind me at night and no problems.

Yes, we drive on the same side. The cutoff is just a law they got. All the cars here in europe have this kind of cutoff, even cars without projectors. It's gotta be a 15° angle or some shyt like that.

I did ship the max, it cost roughly $1500 with all the fees when picking it up, etc... took 5 weeks and the car was really well taken care of while in transit. No complaints about the shipping company.

I am actually picking up another car tomorrow that has been shipped out in early August.

Damn, I wonder if that's how much it is to ship a car to Montenegro. What company did you use and how do they ship it?

Doma Export Co., they are in Linden, New Jersey & in Chicago.
Phone Number for the NJ location: (908) 862-1700 ; I don't know if they ship worldwide but they might.

I dropped off the car at their office, it went into a container along with another car that they had, and picked it up here 5 weeks later. It was shipped in the container on a ship.

Nice job, heres a pic of mines. Still looking for somebody local to me to help aim the projectors better. It still looks great. I used the vertical adjustment to aim it, but need to go driver side fixed a lil, and passenger side to the right more. Its a dual setup with hid projector low beam (single bosch e46) with h3 foglight as high beam.

Very nice.
Is the H3 enough for a high beam?
I was actually thinking of something like this but I couldn't find the parts in the last minute before the install.

p.s. are those angel eyes on there?

The H3 is needed to be legal to pass inspection since its a single xenon. If you had bixenon, then no need for the h3 foglight to be there.

Yes, they are "Angel Eyes" Leds.

With the hid, you won't really need to use high beam alot. I still do need to aim mines better though.
