Horrible squealing from the rear.
I had the misfortune of transporting my friend and his rather large girlfriend around for awhile, and my sprints didnt do too good holding us all up. Lots of rubbing, and now, i here a really high pitched squealing from the rear anytime the car is in motion. I have ceramic pads, and it sounds somewhat similar to when im just very lightly touching the brakes, but quite a bit louder. Is there a bearing in there that she screwed up? Im kinda pissed, and all she said was, "Its not my problem"
anyways... any ideas would be nice.

Apply the emergency brake, then release fully. Drive around at a good pace, then check the temperature around the wheel. The rears, since they don't do as much work as the fronts should be cooler than the fronts. If they're hotter, than the pads are rubbing/dragging. If they are rubbing, drive in reverse fairly quickly, then hit the brakes. This will force the rear brakes to be used to help stop the car. Put it back into drive, and see if they still rub. If they do, then your calipers might be seized. After removing the pads, check whether you can turn the rear piston in without much trouble. If it's really hard to turn, the caliper is seized.
Its hard to believe a fat chick could cause the brakes to squeal. Unless she was a heffer. Although my stepfather is 350lbs and his old Mitsubishi Mirage with 8" non-vented rotors (hard to imagine those brakes stopping his weight)
Anyway the driver side front pads would go to metal and the passager side looked almost new. Not to mention that side axel & tire would go bad offten.
Fat people + cars =
They should all ride scooters in a designated lane.
Move south, we have a very small fat chick ratio.

The squealing has actually stopped, but back when it was going, pressing the brakes had no effect on it until i came to a complete stop. either way, the car is happy again, so im not gonna risk messing with it.
