Hey people.

I'm having a super annoying problem the day before I need to take a drive with my friends to an outdoor trip. Basically my security system is not responding correctly to my clifford aftermarket remote. my car's dome light comes on when I press the open door button. but instead of doors being unlocked, my horn would honk couple of times and doors still won't open. I can open the doors with my keys without problems and the security don't go insane. I can still start my car without problems. So basically my remote is useless.

Please tell me my security system isn't broken and I can fix it by pressing a button...I'm dying to go out tomorrow and my friends need me!

Just use the keys instead of the remote for now - I don't see what the big deal is.

And since you have an aftermarket alarm system, just take it to a shop - can't really help you since we know nothing about the way in which that particular system was installed or how it is supposed to work.
