I sometimes turn the key and nothing happens. All the dashlights come up before going to turn the starter. But when i go to postion 3 sometimes it doesn't work and this worries me. Any help would be appriciated. thanks in advance

Maybe your starter or ignition switch?

if you get that "tick" noise when it doesn't start its probably the starter, no tick and its the ignition switch

If you have an auto, make sure your gear is fully in park. I remember when I had my Max and that use to happen. I used to be like HUH??? Until I realized that I never put the car in park fully.
