I have a regular short ram intake, well the problem is when at low rpm's or just stepping on the gas it like lags or stalls before actually moving forward, like if there was a vaccum leak, I checked all connections and it seems fine. This happens for a couple of days then goes away. Any suggestions?

 

mine too... but it's not the short ram set up.... its probly your MAF sensor going bad or having a short at times or your wire harness... that's what mine has boiled down to>

 

Yup... for some reason, intakes on Maximas do that. In fact, it did the same thing on both my 1st gen Altimas too.

Try putting your stock intake back on and see if it still lags, if not, then it's just the low end power loss by the short ram, if it still lags, then you got something wrong.

 

well.. thats the effect of installing short ram intake.... YOU LOOSE LOW END!

Btw AGRECORDS, dont post info like that too ppl unless you know for sure

 

I wish I still had the stock intake.

 

Check your ecu for ghost codes, and the 4th gen ... F/S foroum for a stock air intake.
