I took my bulbs out the day I brought my car home from the dealership. I don't see why you would want them, I think they're ugly. but, carry on with tea time....

If its just one side that doesn't work, then its either the light assembly or perhaps its the little button on the inside of the door jamb that is supposed to trigger the light on/off that is stuck in the shut position (it is spring loaded)... the switch covered by a piece of black rubber and located towards the bottom of the door jamb..

-sigh- i remember asking this question for almost a year without any replies. APparently, this subject has been covered more than intake threads, so i'll save you the year. // There is aparently an inherent fuse within the master window switch module that somehow got shorted and blew out just your driver's side courtesy light. Try plugging in a different master window control switch and see what happens. i'm 99& sure that's what happened.

// don't forget to swap the bulbs and light assemblies tos ee if they work on either side. // probably already did that im assuming.

it could also be the switch that is located in the lower rear area of the door jam. if the switch is faulty, no lights would come on , but you said only the drivers side ...never mind
