I love these kinds of threads. Everybody has a flippin' opinion and no data to back it up.

Some people are freakin' dangerous at 70 mph. I have driven around 100 mph and people in the car didn't even realize I was going that fast. If the road's smooth and the tires are balanced, it's smooth as buttah. And really, a hundred's not all that fast when you consider that on many sections of interstate (at least many of those I cruise), people are going 85-90 anyway. Honestly, depressed gas mileage and fear of getting a ticket are what keep me down most of the time. Oh, and the idea that I'm really totally breaking the law makes me feel kinda bad, so I'll slow down.
