I don't know for sure, but just something to think about: a 4th gen and a 5th gen have different chassis. Something might not be an exact fit.

Also, I don't know about the quality of the brand (stainless steel and mandrel bending are good though), but judging by the description and picture it is probably really loud (if that's what you want.) Don't forget that they want over $100 to ship it.

I wouldn't risk it personally. Just my .02.

Actually I keep wondering if it fits. The exhaust is VERY similar on 4th and 5th gens. I have been under both cars, if there is a difference, it is the length of the pipes.

How do you know? It says 304SS and mandrel bent. For all we know it fits perfectly.

Apparently your name reflects upon your common sense. If it fit '95 maximas, it wouldn't say '00-'03...

The difference in overall length is small (an inch roughly IIRC) between 4th and 5th gen, though who knows if that translates to any difference in piping. But if you think about it, there's even a length difference between exhausts for 95-96 and 97-99 due to the bumper. Also, doesn't a 95 need a rear O2 sensor bung, or am I getting confused? The 5th gen exhaust in the picture doesn't look like it has one. Just some food for thought.

just curious...but why do all of those cheap exhausts have the muffler looking like a resonator and then like a smaller hole to let the exhaust come out than the actual outlet as the tip? (o) < like that (took a long time to make that diagram).

all those ricey sounding cars seem to have exhausts like that. i hate the sound too.

for all the haters of this exhaust i can understand sense everyone has a maxima and these types of exhaust usually dont mix with a family sedan. But anyone that says that Tsudo is a bad name is an idiot, they make very high quality catback systems for the money. I have an exhaust clip i took of a 3" Tsudo N1 catback on my Eclipse GST and it really sounds Great! see for yourself here: http://www.filegone.com/d7dm
Although it is a bit ricey looking the fitment and quality were A+! heres a few pics of the exhaust...

just figured id add that last one for the heck of it

Yes I know all that. For me, if the Bpipe worked it would be worth it.

Kevlo, I know you know that stuff (you seem to be one of the more knowledgeable people around here), but I'm just pointing out that little differences could exist to other people who might not know. If the b-pipe did work, yes I'd definitely agree with you that a stainless steel mandrel bent pipe for just over $100 is a great deal.

I guess we won't know if it fits or not unless someone has actually lined up a 4th and 5th gen catback together and compared them.
