Need new rotors

Hey,
looks like I need two new rotors, want to buy larger rotors if possible, what would you guys suggest? I'm on ssr integral A2s 17x7 (+38mm offset i believe). I don't want to add spacers if possible. I also wanted to know if installation is different between front and rear rotors.

Larger rotors wont make a difference not unless you have a BBK. I'd recommend getting stainless steel brake lines and some good front pads (if you dont have them already). People are gonna say, "Get drilled and slotted rotors, blah blah blah", but for daily driving get some Brembo rotors and some good pads with SS lines.

There are lots of group deals going on in the GD section. BrianV can get you some SS lines for a great price. Send him a PM or visit his thread in the Group Deals section. Auto_Max has tons of brake equipment for sale as well. Hope this helps.

If it was me, I would stay with OEM pads. High preformance pads are made to bite and bite good. This is great for the track, but hell on your rotors. I used Axxis Ultimates and by the time I needed to change the pads the rotors had nasty grooves the size of the pad in them. Basically the pads ate up the rotor very quickly.

If you stay w/stock size rotors Autozone has decent ones, make sure you don't get the cheapest ones they sell. I looked at them side by side w/the slightky more expensive ones & you can see a much better grinding pattern on the better ones.

i would personally use Brembo blanks..with hawk hp pads...and some SS lines. but my car sees heavy auto-x abuse in the summer........but when it al lcomes down to it u arnt gonna stop if ur tires loose traction while braking so also keep that in mind

This has been talked about a lot and really depends on your driving habits, where you drive, what you want your breaking ability to be like, etc.... Brembo blanks and OEM pads have been said to be the best combo unless you absolutely need more braking power say if you are racing for real, or have some serious power under the hood...
