whalen tires sell KUMHO 225/45R17 Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 tires for $103 per tire. When I buy them with the rims, they do free mounting and balancing. Without shipping costs, is $103 a good deal? Any cheaper tires for this 17" rims?

That's aobut right...

My Kumho's ran me about $120 each, so I'm guessing you're getting them at good price. They are very high-quality tires so don't feel as if your paying for some "crappy" tires since they're already priced lower than other brands. They do have good performance and they are quiet as well.

For that size $103 is a very decent price. 235/45/17's cost $103 at my shop, but I've bought so much there they'd let me get em for $95 a piece. However, they charge me $10 / tire for balancing and installation. So I think your price is very decent.

Also, although I do not have the tire, I highly recommend it. I've run on Kumho 711's and they're a great value (195/50/15 ZR). I tried to get 712's for my car but the wheel shop only had Toyo and Nitto.
