In-cabin Microfilter replace question...

I am trying to replace In-cabin Microfilter for my 97 maxima.
As per the greghome.com, i removed glove box latch (2 screws).
Next i removed 4 screws holding the glove box. After that i
tried to remove the glove box, i didn't come out. Not sure how
to disconnect the glove box light and air bag connector.

Do i have to disconnect both first and remove the glove box?
Please explain more. I am not able to remove the glove box.

I was under the impression 4th gen's didn't have an in-cabin microfilter.

We don't have in-cabin microfilters... oops. That was introduced sometime during the 5th Gen cycle.

Looks to me I was cheated by the dealer two years back in Jefferson City.
The dealer told me that, i have to replace In-cabin Microfilter (it was bad),
and charged me (not sure $100.00 plus). He told that i have to replace
every 2 years, which is located in side the glove box.

don't worry, that's a dealer's job, to cheat you out of as much money as possible. Just goes to show you some pre-emptive research could have saved you 100 bucks. Imagine what else you'll learn on this forum.

How ghey. Don't believe everything you hear at the dealership. Or anyone as a matter of fact. I always say I'll think about it and leave. Do some research, go to different places.

Recently when I was getting my alignment done they found my cv boot tore. Firestone was charging me 150 for the part, 150 for replacing it. I said, "I'll think about it." My mechanic charged me 60. 17.75 for the boot, the rest for labor.
