automatic trunk opening mod + aux input to bose mod

i currently have an aftermarket regular single mp3 player. i would like to put back the oem stock hu because of its flush look.

euro, if you could show us pics of your mounting locations that would be great. i'm still probably going to leave mine as is since i'm already happy with it. plus it's easier to close the trunk when it's not all the way up.

ah i see. i used two different holes. but were you able to put the trunk lining back with the strut mounted like that?

I used that same exact hole in the trunk wall. the trunk liner goes back in perfect.

It's part of the strut.
