Tranny mount blown?
I noticed a few days ago that when i put my car into drive or reverse, i hear a slight creaking noise coming from the shifter console area. Im auto...and im pretty sure there is a tranny mount around that area, correct? Could this creaking be a sign that i need new motor/tranny mounts?
The noise only happens when i go from park to revers or park to drive. It seams to be alot louder when going into reverse. The sound only continues when in revers and slightly gassing it (featherin the pedal). In drive, the sound stops right when the tranny engages into drive.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Yea i have been taking a look at stuff, i cant really see anything wrong with anything (visually at least)
One thing that i did do before this started happening was i changed my LCA bushings (with ES ones) and also my front sway bar bushings (ES also). Altho this noise does not seam to be coming from the sway bar OR the LCAs...like i said it seams to be coming from the center console by where the autoz gear selector is at...
Im goin in the garage tonight to take another peak at things...Ill come back if i find anything new out.
