Cruise control led mod, need help

Which legs are positive and negative on the actual cruise control? How does the white plastic piece go back in? The original bulb has a rectangular plastic piece, I want to keep the original bulb for one of the lights, which way does the bulb go back in?

argg... crap ive already done this, but i forget which ones pos and neg. is

is it the same set up as the heated seat switches?..

Not sure about heated switches, I need help fast my whole dash is apart, do you remember which side the led went on?

no idea, does it look like this?:


if so, top is negitive, bottom is positive. you could always just guess and check, thats what i did..

I checked 3 times with it open, the led comes on for a second then goes out and doesnt work again!

thats cus you blew the LED lol. were you using resistors?
