Auto Hesitates under quick acceleration

I started noticing recently that when I floor the car from a rolling start (at any speed), it has a tendency to hesitate a few seconds without any sign of speeding up, then drop the gears and take off, and it doesnt pull the way that it used to. Also I noticed once in while when floored the RPMs will jump and the engine will rev but the car wont speed up for about 2 seconds, where as before it used to just be an instant thing.

Your tranny seems fubar'd.

Use common sense, and check and smell the fluid, check if there is even fluid in there.

Mine's slipping bad in 2nd and 4th, it's only a matter of time.

Well I checked the fluid....strangely it came up dry. I just had the 60k tune up done a few months ago. It makes me wonder if they ever put fluid back in.

Is there any recommendations on auto tranny fluid? or does it not make a differance. How much do I need to put it, I dont have a owners manual, so I cant look it up.

sounds like my tranny with fuild in it. I try to start off from a rolling stop and it won't go, takes awhile and then goes. I'm doing the swap soon so I got no worries. Just hoping it won't go out any time soon.

You already have sufficient input.

Adding fluid would seem like the more common of the 5 senses available.

There's a Sticky in the Fluids and Lubricants section on ATF. Check it there. NmexMax, I love that slap smiley.

Well I went and picked up some fluid...and I filled her up. Now shes reading right, but withing a minute of putting in the fluid my SES light came on. I hit it with the OBDII and I got 2 codes, P0443 and P0443. Does that make sense? Why would it produce 2 of the same code. I erased them, and the next time i started the car the light was thrown again. Erased them a second time and left. After about 10 min of driving, maybe less, the light came on again, with the same 2 codes (which are exactly the same). Whats the deal?
