I hope someone can help (Parasitic Draw)

Hello everyone. I am the new guy.

I have a problem with my battery dying over night. At first. My battery was about 5 years old. So when it died I just figured it was time for a new one anyway. Put the new one in. Car was dead the next morning. Charged it up and put it back in the car. Dead next morning. So I figured I had a bad battery. Took it back got a new one. Guess what? Dead the next morning. So I assume that something is drawing to be killing my battery. I took off all my aftermarket electronics leaving only the 3 (4 including the negative)origanal factory wires connected to the battery and it is still dead the next morning. Electrical problems drive me crazy. Does anyone know or can check for me what the Normal parasitic draw value is for the 1995 SE? I do have a Hayes manual and a FSM but it's burried in my storage shed because I am living with the in-laws.

Any suggestions would be extreamly helpful

Look forward to meeting everybody

Thanks...

Double check that the light in your trunk is going out when you close the lid. this might be the culprit

Their is the red harness with the 2 wires and the 2awg wire on the positive side of the battery. I am not exactly sure where the 2awg wire goes. But I took the red harness off leaving the 2awg wire on and the battery didn't die.

You can do the usual thing and start pulling fuses while keeping an eye on the ampmeter. I first listen for any tell-tale clicking of relay(s) the minute the battery is reconnected. You're right there under the hood and they're nicely labeled so the process of elimination goes much quicker if you do this first before moving on to the fuses.
