general wheel bolt pattern question
general wheel bolt pattern question
can a 5 x 100 wheel be mashed onto a 5 x 114.3?? and vica versa?? i just need to junk a car, so i want to slap some steelies on. if i were to dremel the holes bigger, how would i be able to do it?
Also Interested in this, however its 112mm--->114.3. Any infos appreciated including whether or not it has an effect on rubbing etc. I was looking at some rims that came off an Audi. Anyone have adapters on their cars, experiences?
isn't it 5x114.3 (or 114)? i had never heard 112 for our cars
anyway, i know what you can do is get new hubs with studs in them that will let cars go from 4 studs to 5 studs. it's not very safe though. big for civics and such. so i suppose there's something out there to convert yours to different diameter

if you want it done the right way, you need to fill those holes and re-drill them. It will be VERY expensive. what do u mean by u need to junk a car?? if yo uneed to junk a car..why do u need to put the wheels on there..or is that a requirement?? anyhow, aren't there steelies for like $75 on the org or something/???
yea, here's the situation. my moms chrysler cirrus has these wheels i can probably get 200 for, plus i just put new ziex 512s on them. the chrysler is gonna be junked. i want to keep the chrysler wheels, and maybe buy a set of cheap steelies or whatever with no tread on them just so the junkyard will take it. i'm pretty sure the yard wont take it without wheels, i maybe wrong bc i dont know how it goes. time is of the essence and the chrysler cirrus/stratus boards are DEAD. i see lots of deals for steelies here, so wondering if i can do a quick swap.
and before any doomas mentions it, yes i dont capitalize my i's or first letters. sue me.

i'm pretty sure the junkyard will take the car without the tires. i mean, if anything tell them to bring some rims over that will fit. Heck, its a junked car, tell them that your wheels got stolen or something. don't tell them that you sold it or nething, cause then they'll try to rip u off saying oh, blah blah blah blah blah. But i'm pretty sure that they will bring some tires n rims if they wanted to
