Does anyone know where I can get an engine pre-oiler that will work in my '96Max? After letting my car sit for a few days, when I started it, the engine was making alot of noise until the oil pressure built up. Just trying to prevent this from happening again.

 

The noise was caused by an oil filter with a defective anti-drainback valve. Replace your oil filter. You don't have to change the oil, but might as well. Try a different brand of oil filter this time.

 

Thanks Dan. I know its the oil filter leaking the oil but, I have tried around 5 different filters on it. Some are worse than others. I suppose I can try a Mobil 1 filter or something like that. The $$ is my only objection.
