Opinions on what may be causing....

My heater when turned on doesn't get hot until I'm moving forward. All my heater fan speeds work, my "fresh" button work and all I might think it may be would be the thermostat. Any ideas I'm not seeing?!

only when you move? how about if the engine warms up? does it work then? or does it only work when you move with the engine cold?

if your engine is not warmed up, your heater doesnot blow the hot air. One way to find out if the thermostat is bad is "start your engine, wait till it starts getting warmer, after coming to its normal temperature, try taking it to a highway and drive at 65 mph for 5-10 mins. If your temp. in the cluster starts getting colder then its the thermostat." Thats what my buddy told me when I had the heating problems.

i have the exact same problem. it only blows hot if i maintain 20+ mph, which isn't too often here in suburbia. it must really suck up there in Montana. I'm gonna ask my mechanic friend who actually lives in Missoula. I'll let you know what he says.

Somebody else also posted a similar problem. Turns out the coolant level was low.
You Might want to check that.
Good Luck..
