BIG PROBLEM!!! Really need ur help guys...

I will try to make the story as quick as possible lol...anyway so I left my headlights on the other day when I went into the store and when I came out an hour later my battery was dead (yea thats weird but thats not the point lol)...anyway so i had AAA come to jump my car..he used one of those portable battery jumpers...my alarm was going off and he said to disarm the security system (i have the factory anti-theft system) by unlocking the door with the key a couple times, and it worked and the alarm turned off...after my car started working again and the guy left, i realized my stereo (complete stereo system w/ extra battery in trunk), the clock, and my keyless entry will not work anymore..any ideas?

what i know so far is that all the fuses underneath the steering wheel are ok cause i checked them..also my amp is turned off but thats because if the head unit is off the amp and system is off..i read the owners manual and tried to "reactivate" the security system by locking the doors a couple times or whatever, but that didnt work...i dunno if it would do anything but i tried taking my battery terminals off to reset everything, but it didnt fix a thing..

I am completely clueless now, and I would definitely rather fix it myself if possible instead of taking it to a place and get laughed at because it's probably something easy that I'm just overlooking. Please guys help me out! Any suggestions would help! Thanks as always org...

Have you checked fuses under the hood, relays??
My cousin had the same problem with his toyota rav4 (no radio no clock not even alarm) that because some dumbass from CAA had connected his - onto +. So after that we had replaced a couple fuses and it worked!!!
Try to check fuses one by one. Should help.

By the way, nice rims!

i checked the fuses on the right side, right next to the intake...those look fine...the relays though, next to the wiper fluid, i took those off but you really cant check them yourself can you? what do i look for and which one should i specifically look at, cuz u got a max so maybe u know which one i should look for? thanks dude

At first i think you gotta check the fuses wich is looks like a small boxes not like regular ones (they are green i think) they are in the same box (right beside the intake) wich you checked first. you gotta see small stripe inside if there is no stripe or its all black that should be it.
And you don't have to remove em you can look thru the clear top cover on it

all i can tell you is that my alternator is having problems n battery wasn't charged fully. My batter light n brake light came on. While that was happening, none of my audio worked. I believe that this is a safety feature on the maximas/i30. Maybe ur battery isn't fully charged back to its potential. But if you don't have the battery light on, then i dunno

My battery is definitely fully charged because I hooked a battery charger up to it and it said it was full. Also, I checked the relays next to the intake and they are all gold and fine.

If it was the fuse inside the head unit, why would the clock and anti-theft system and keyless entry not be working?

In your fuse box next to the intake, there's a big fuse near the center of that fuse box check that one. It doesn't pull out, If it's bad you will have to remove the bolt holding it in.

Well the diagram says that that fuse is for the battery...if the battery fuse was bad, the car wouldnt start at all right?

Try replacing and removing all ignition/stereo/electrical/accessory fuses. The audio fuse may still be good but some times the system gets messed up somehow.

Well I already pulled every fuse out and put it back in, so that shoulda taken care of that, but nothin still...does anybody know about how i "disabled" my security system by unlocking the car twice or something? because if i could just figure out how to enable the security system again, maybe the radio and clock would start working?

OK..take out you HU and check the fuse on the back of it..i believe it should have one...once you check that...go BACK into your fuse box and pull out what nismos14 was talking about the electrical/accessory/etc. Sometimes fuses dont have to look popped to be burned out. Next check the fuse from the battery to you amp, and check any other fuse on ANYTHING in your system. Start with those and get back to me with an update after you did it. Hope this works
