0504 and 0804

Just pulled up these codes, tried reseting and came right back up within 1 minute of starting it again.

Seams like the tranny is stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear (fail safe mode correct?)

Any thoughts on what i should replace as far as sensors? Or should i just start shopping around for a new tranny? Im really stumped on this one. I checked the stickies, but its not very informative as far as the description.

ANY ideas or advice are gona be helpfull as im pretty confused as to what to do next.

thanks

Well it seems both codes point to the same possibilities so start by maybe getting your battery checked then work from there

eh, i have a optima red top, and everything power related seams to work 100%, no hesitation when starting at all. So i DOUBT its the battery, I was told it could possibly be the shift solenoids...
