ETA to Ohio?

 

For those who have already installed this onto their cars (1st batch), I would like to know your thoughts or any tips that you might have in helping those who have yet to install them. What extra parts are needed, etc.?

Anything would greatly help.

 

How thick is the tube anyone?

 

3/16" and not quite an inch across.

 

JClaw can these still be purchased?, If so how many do you have left? Thanks!

They sure can. The current list still stands.

Although I have recieved 2 out of those 6 payments.

I have finally received everything (the other batch of rod ends, nuts, ect) so I'll be sending out the previous 18 sets ASAP.

Should get the rod ends for the 3rd batch next week.

Got mine yesterday !!!!!!! KSport's came in on Friday time to get to work!!!!

The one thing to keep in mind when you install these is to adjust them so they "push" towards the rear of the car to prevent as much movement as possible during acceleration.

I hate US customs/ USPS.... still waiting :-(. I was hoping to have them for when I finally hit the track this friday. Hopefully a miracle will take place and I will receive them either today or tomorrow.

 

As I said, it took mine 15 days to get from Montreal to Wisconsin, so don't get your hopes up that it will take less than 2 weeks.

 

Man, I hope I get them before May 1st ... I got springs and axle's going on and wanted to knock it all out that day.

I still havent received mine. And that canada shipper website isnt very helpful with tracking my box. It just says it received the package on April 12 with no other info.

I know, it's always been like that.

Yes, Ups is delivery the rod ends on Monday. I know you were among the first two to send a payment in the 3rd batch so I'm trying to send yours asap (I may have enough rod ends remaining).

I also decided to close the list. Just not possible to do any more with my work schedule anymore.

 

I quickly went through both threads and couldn't see any install pics so I figured I would take some pics when I installed mine.

Hell, maybe I even installed them wrong

But this might help anyone who isn't quite sure how these mount

Remove 3 Bolts from tow hook


Install bracket using same 3 bolts (I had to file one of the holes only slightly to get it to line up perfect)


Slide one end of the traction bar over the top of the control arm and bolt it to the bracket


Bolt other end of traction bar to control arm. Make sure to put a washer on the top and bottom of the control arm


Then tighten so it pushes outwards
Repeat for the other side

Zero-K, maybe the question has been covered (sorry) but its real quick. When you tighten the bars, should it be done with the car in the air or on the ground settled?

I just got my bars today (thank j00), but the box had been opened and there were no instructions in it. All the hardware was there but no instructions.
