18's on a 4th gen... Rubbing?

Looking at some 6th gen 18's with stock tires but wondering if they are going to scrap or not? Even if the 18's fit I want to make sure they are not going to scrap when I hit a bump as well.

What is the approx weight also? 18-20lbs?

Pics are welcome too

* That's a very interesting and useful link, thanks.
I noted:
Rim sizes from 15-19 inches can be used. which clearly answers the question posted.

20lbs? Yeah OK. Your tires probably weigh that alone. As for the weight of the 6th gen wheels I would think it is about 22-24lbs per wheel.

Are you running titanium wheels? no way they both weigh 20lbs. think about that.

How many times has this thread come up?

'06 Wheels on a '99

Thinking about going with the '06 17" wheels. What tire size should I use as not to effect the speedo, brakes or any thing else.

I had 6th gen 18"'s on my max for about a month.

I got rid of them because of other reasons but what was also bugging me is that at high speeds on big bumps, the front tires would rub somewhere (tires were 245/45/18); I don't know what it rubbed against, I never investigated it but just wanted to bring that up just incase you decide to go the 245 tire route.
