Harness replacement ideas
I see there are plenty of threads written about wiring harness faults and the cost of replacing same.
That 'where it goes round the sharp bend' part could be (if defective) replaced by a section made out of ribbon cables and screened audio cable, I think. It would involve terminating 2 pairs of plug/socket assemblies, so I think in cases where it's just one or two wires, I would run new wiring along the cable and simply bypass the fault.
Wanted: a source for the self-vulcanising rubber harness binding.
