Are you talking about what kind of services they do in the 60K maintenance?

Well, i think at 60K u should Service any and all fluids.
Oil Change (DUH!!)
Trans service, (if service has been routine then no need for a flush, if service has not been routine maybe a flush)
Coolant either A)flush or B)Drain and fill
Air filter service
Rotate
Inspect all lights
I think that is the biggest part to worry about
Spark Plugs if u want to look at
Try cleaning ur throttle body

also:
- flush brake fluid. esp after 9 years.
- change power steering fluid (using turkey baster). you will only get a small amount out, so do this at every oil change from now on. its quick and cheap.
- as for ATF (if you have an AT), do a drain/fill every 15k from now on. its also quick and cheap and will extend your tranny life. ATF in these cars is only good for about 25k miles give or take, and drain/fill only gets half of it out, so change it 25k/2=12.5k, round up to 15k. just use cheap Dex III. I have amsoil ATF in mine now, and it shifts no better than the $1/qt walmart brand dex III I had in there before.

oh, and BTW - despite what many here might say, you really should use OEM Nissan coolant if you do a radiator drain/fill. go search the bobistheoilguy.com coolant forum for an explanation as to why. if you take it to a shop and have a machine flush done, you can use whatever you choose, but be aware of the tradeoffs. "regular green" coolant needs to be changed often. Zerex G05 appears to be the best aftermarket long life coolant for japanese cars - but you need to do a full flush before you put it in, and it's still >$10/gal. seriously, for an extra $8 over 60k miles you are better off using the Nissan stuff. any dealer should be able to give it to you for $18/ gal (full strength) if you ask for a discount. otherwise it's $32/gal.

when they say "it's $32/gal" ask them if you can have it for $18 (which I think is their "internal nissan cost" for the stuff). this worked for me at 2 different dealers. Woodfield Nissan in Schaumburg is one of them.

Actually, 2 other dealers in the Niles/evanston area have also given me discounts on other parts. you just need to ask for it. just say "hey man, can you give me a break on the parts?". they have the ability to do it. I've only been shot down once.

Well, I guess it's not required for your Maximas, but it's required for mine. I think.

Unless you have a one of a kind A32 Maxima that does not have a VQ30DE.. then I'd say you have no clue you're talking about because no VQ has spark plug wires.
