Stupid EVAP
0705: EVAP System leak
0903:EVAP Canister vent control valve circuit fault
I would go through and check to make sure there is no loose hoses. Also check all electrical harnesses make sure they have a good connection.

just got rid of mine last week for good!! u need to buy the carbon cannister (i think thats the name) with the valve connected to it. Its the gray box near your left rear tire. i found mine at a junk yard last week, took a chance on it working, and raplaced the old with the junkyard one, no more codes!!
Inside the canister is a valve - it sometimes get stuck. Take it apart, take out the EAV valve, spray it with WD-40, make sure it's not stuck, put it back in. Clear codes, and presto, it's all goooooood.
Just went out and lubed up the EAV valve, see what happens, thanks

I had 0705 and I just replaced the valve. I tried the wd-40 trick, but it wouldn't budge. I had my CEL on for like 3 years and just now decided to go ahead and fix it. It was like $90? at the dealership. It cleared the code.
I have a question about how the valve is supposed to be when you take it of. When I took it off the plunger was extended out or open. I pushed it down a couple of times to work in the wd-40 and it was poping back open easier each time I did it. Is it supposed to be open when you take it off? Doesn't it close electricly?
After taking the canister out and lubing the valve up, I managed to get rid of the 0705 DTC but 0903 comes right back up right when I start my car. Before I could clear the code for like 5 days. Now 0903 puts up right after I clear it. I'm thinking the Vacuum Valve is shot electricly.
