I had 0705 and I just replaced the valve. I tried the wd-40 trick, but it wouldn't budge. I had my CEL on for like 3 years and just now decided to go ahead and fix it. It was like $90? at the dealership. It cleared the code.

I have a question about how the valve is supposed to be when you take it of. When I took it off the plunger was extended out or open. I pushed it down a couple of times to work in the wd-40 and it was poping back open easier each time I did it. Is it supposed to be open when you take it off? Doesn't it close electricly?

After taking the canister out and lubing the valve up, I managed to get rid of the 0705 DTC but 0903 comes right back up right when I start my car. Before I could clear the code for like 5 days. Now 0903 puts up right after I clear it. I'm thinking the Vacuum Valve is shot electricly.
