Clutch fluid disappears

for the past week my clutch fluid has been mysteriously dissapearing on me ... every 3 days it falls in between the max line and min line and I fill it back up to the max line .... the clutch feels fine when I press it, which means it is building pressure. So I don't know if it is leaking from the clutch fluid line or it's just being taken in by the engine ... I'm new to the forum so I don't know the proper terms ....

Difibulation modulation is the cause of fluid that dissapears mysteriously.

You've got three things to check.

1) Slave cylinder
2) The lines to the slave cylinder
3) The clutch master cylinder

My educated guess goes to a leaky, worn out slave cylinder.

the hydraulic lines are known to crack and leak after a while. Check those too. They run over the top side of the tranny.

ya but i mean for the price of 50 bucks at napa you can get a new one and save yourself the embarassment of being in line at the tacobell drivethrough, spring a leak, clutch engage, and ram the person in front of you lol

Its most likely the clutch line or slave cylinder somewhere....the fluid doesn't just magically disappear into thin air....its somehow leaking through the clutch hydraulic components...check the whole area and you should find your leak....

Most likely its the clutch line tho....its $25 shipped I believe for an SS one from BrianV...check it out
