Speedometer problem............

Speedometer problem............

Last night I am cruising on highway at 55 MPH when my speed gauge drops to 0 stays like that for a minute (while the odometer is not spinning miles) goes up to 55 MPH in ferrari style drops again and so forth then after couple times like that stays normal it is pissing me off.

First thing I'd check is codes, see if there's one for the VSS, second pull out the dash and make sure all the connectors are plugged in tightly and aren't corroded or anything.

i had the same problem with mine it turned out to be the speedo head they call it. its the whole speedometer. its really easy to change yourself. make sure that is the problem first by doing a diagostic test in the ecu
