Exhaust question

Exhaust question
Alright Im looking into replacing my exhaust, so far im interested in the Pacesetter catback, and possibly a y pipe (if i really even need it). I read the exhaust sticky, and thats how I decided on this set up. I was just wondering what your opinions of the pacesetter exhaust are, and what y pipe you recommend. Also, will I need a resonator?, or can I just use the stock one. Just so you know, Im looking for a deep tone, no bees in the can, and nothing horribly loud.

im sure you've read the best thing you can do for performance on the exhaust side is the y-pipe. this will however make whatever catback you choose louder as it elimiates the upstream congestion. the best advise i can offer is spending the money on the greddy catback, since my buddy has it and has the "deep tone" and isn't horribly loud (even with a ypipe). I've also heard an apexi WS catback and it sounded the exact same but i think its harder to find.
i have the warpspeed ypipe and it works great, great fitment and no bees

thanks for the reply, I was looking into the greddy sp2, but its a little out of my budget. I can also never seem to find it for the 97-99 models. I always see 95-96. I definatly look into the apexi as well.
