I got a short ram from ebay. They are fine except for the filter they come with. I put the filter it came with in and I ended up having to replace my MAF 3 months later. If you get one, make sure you upgrade the filter. I didn't really notice any gain or loss. Everyone says you lose some low end but gain high end from a short ram but I never felt a low end loss or high end gain. It may be dyno proven but if there was a loss in low end, It wasn't bad enough for me to notice it. But it does sound nice and LOUD when you get on it. You can hardly notice it when driving normal.

What?

Just use a quality filter with whatever POS you end up getting.

BTW the one I got came with a pipe with 4 hose inputs. The max only needs 3 so try to find one with 3. Otherwise your gonna have to block one off like I did.

my friend got his intake from ebay ( few months ago ), and i originally had one before too ( a while ago ), but the filter broke apart for me, and so i just ended up buying a name brand intake for me for about 100 dollars. K&N filter costs about 50 bucks, so you might as well just buy a name brand intake with a discount somewhere instead of purchasing it off ebay and replacing it with a K&N filter.

Just get a cone filter or hack your stock airbox if you want noise, that way you won't lose as much low end power.
