car doesn't get enough throttle when starting? check this out!

When I start my car, especially when the engine is already warmed up, it starts up fine and then the RPM's drop down and it stalls. If I give it a little gas for a second when i start it, it idles fine and runs fine. There's no problem with the way the car drives or runs, just when it starts. And it's not like it starts badly either, it just needs to give itself more throttle or something at the beginning. one guy i talked to said there is a valve or something that controls that? anyone know what it is?

fyi: i have a brand new IACV, alternator, battery and starter

Common problem.

Mine did this when I got it.. Changed the oil, put in a new PCV Valve and cleaned the throttle body.. Now it works fine.

Mine does it and i have a bad coil pack. That valve that you are refering to is the IAC valve. If you look in the "how to" stickies itll tell you how to clean it

Also check and make sure you are getting a start signal to the ecm during cranking. If your ignition switch is going bad it can cause you to loose the start signal and cause hard starts/stalls right after cranking ect.
