Anyone know why the brake! light on the dash would come on...it's not because my lights are out, all of them are in perfect working order. I'm starting to think there's an electrical gremlin in my car.

This dashboard warning light turns on to warn you that either ...
- the handbrake is not fully released, ... or ...
- the brake fluid reservoir level is low.

This is explained in your Owner's Manual.

Thanks Daniel,

I would have read the owner's manual, except the wife had the car at work all day...and I lost my telekenetic powers last week. :P
