Need new exhaust setup soon, need opinions

Ok, heres the deal.Everything is stock and about to rust through. (Fed spec)
Need new exhaust setup, basically everything from the y-pipe to the muffler tip.
-For Y-pipe I was thinking Budget(stainless steel)(How reliable is Budget? and what about fitment issues?)
-maybe I can reuse stock Cat and stock b-pipe? or would be just be worth it to get everything new?
-muffler.... would a 5th or 5.5 gen muffler work? ( need a 1 piece outlet/ single) not those dual.
also keep in mind, I am looking for a true quiet to a semi quiet exhaust setup.
Thanks

Budget is good (and cheap ) and if your stock system are not too rusted save some $$$$. A 5th Gen muffler can fit a 4th Gen.

Not to thread jack but my system also is about rusted through, last week a part of the outside of the pipe fell off my car and was dragging on the ground. Now in the grand state of ohio, as of jan 1st this year we no longer have emission controls. So what is a good exhaust setup that mounts on the headers cause i no longer am going to use my Cat. I was thinking of a Borla or the Nismo exhaust. Someone point me in the right direction. Looking in the price range of a stock replacement.

I just installed a Cattman SS Y-pipe, and I am amazed at the fitment. If the rest of their stuff fits this well -- and judging by their reputation, I'd guess it does -- then they'd be a great option.

They sell any exhaust component you'd want, but if you're going to order more than the Y-pipe from them, IMO you might as well just snag their full exhaust, which includes the Y-pipe, cat, b-pipe, muffler, and ALL gaskets and installation hardware. Pretty convenient. It will run you $1120 + shipping from www.redlinemax.com. Sounds pricey, but what you're paying for is the guarantee that it all just bolts right in, fits PERFECTLY, and works right. It's mellow and quiet at low RPMs, great growl at high RPMs, and never too loud. If you want a one-and-done solution, this is it.

But if you're not going to get their full exhaust, again, I recommend their Y-pipe. I got it because I did NOT want to take chances on fitment or sound, and it definitely did not disappoint me.

I am in need of an exhaust soon to. My hanger and bracket behind my b pipe is completely rusted from the exhaust.

I am looking at a greddy SP2 or a Cattman but cant decide exactly. Anyone got any opinions?

GReddy makes really good stuff, and the SP2 is a great product. But...

It's a minor inconvenience, but I have NEVER heard of that kind of stuff happening with Cattman's exhaust parts. Every report I've heard has been that it just fits perfectly with no fuss (except maybe the headers, but those aren't exactly one of their biggest items).
