My transmission bearings must be replaced so I might as well replace the clutch as well. What is the best clutch for normal street use? I personally prefer the light feel of he Nissan clutch, but the groaning is tiresome. Thanks for any help.

try an ACT street setup. don't go for the 4 or 6 puck sport/race clutches as they have really abrupt takeup.

www.nipponpower.com has them for a decent price...

ACT

ACT stage 2 or 3 kevlar.

Won't go wrong.

I'm sure that expensive aftermarket clutches are nice, but I really like the Nissan one I just recently got. It took a little while to get used to it, but now I love it. Hey how much is the bearing job gonna cost? It cost me 960+ tax.

ACT doesn't make kevlar discs....they are all organic or copper ceramic. plus..they also don't have "stages" they have a street, 4-puck, and 6-puck.
