They are unique and clean, but not for me. To each their own.

Altezza

Wow. They look real nice. I hope they will look that good on my Black max. Did you have any problems installing them?

Thanks,
Erik

Not too many problems installing them

Probably the biggest problem were getting the inner stock taillights out. The silicon which kept them sealed to the trunk was in there real good. I scrubbed my hands for like 20 minutes getting all the silicon off. Other than that...the lights just bolted on. One word of advice though...get a set of 4 (1157)size bulbs in red...it gives the taillights a much "richer-red" look at night. IMHO its the difference between night and day -comparing the white bulbs to the red. I also have a set of 2 (1156) amber bulbs for the blinkers (amber not being necessary, however I want to be seen when I'm turning and it stands out better. I also have on order a set of 2 (1156) superwhite bulbs for my reverse lights. I agree these lights aren't for everyone and don't work on every single Max-yet I personally like em. To each his own. Thanks for the props so far everyone. Later.

i feel the same way. if they make them for 97-99 in a carbon-fibre look like they have for most hondas, i will buy some.

those with black or dark max and would like to get the altezza....i believe it would look best if ya'll would give it a light tint to give it that darker look....that would most def look good....like i said before i think the chrome background only go with light/white/silver/gray max.....for any dark/black max it doesn't look rite with the chrome background....

hey man,

I think they complement yer chrome rims very well. I dunno if they'd look right on a Max w/out chromes, ya know? You'd have to paint the chrome part either black or body color...

Now the only thing you gotta do is get rid of that cheesy "maxima SE" stuff on yer back doors.

I'VE SEEN THEM TODAY IN PERSON!!!!!

Yes, I saw a dark blue or black Max on Nostrand ave with Altezzas... Those things stand out like crazy.. I think they look too big for tails on a Max, the circles are humongous.. on a dark color color they look worse.. I must say they don't look bad on this car here...

Wow, they are growing in popularity on your cars... well, your cars.. thank god no one makes them for a 3rd gen,..... yet... j/k

How about this?

I don't like the mirrors in altezzas, but you can make them look like skylines.
I took the liberty of messing with photoshop.

I don't think these can be had outside of photoshop land.

Unless you paint the altezzas. Here is another pic.

Where and how much for Altezzas?
www.Altezzalighting.com
$258.00+shipping and handling=$270.95(from CA to CT)
I was told that I got the last set from this batch...the next set should be avaiable from 4-6 weeks.

Are the blinkers brighter than OEM?
I think nothing stands out better than the obtrusive orange signal lights on the OEM blinkers; however I still think the altezza's put out a nice easy to see blinker. Even though the bulb is on top for the blinker...the whole circle actually lights up. I kept the amber bulb in there because I felt it was so much easier to see at night than another red bulb(or white if that).

"Maxima SE" stickers
This was actually the first and only thing I did to my car for a whole year when I first bought my car over 5 years ago. I admit it's not something that I would probably put on my car now...but everyone used to "know" my car cause of the stickers.....I haven't taken them off because it just has been on there so long.

Any more questions...post-em! By the way...I love what you did with the photo-shopped pics--this would be an alternative for people who maybe have silver rims or a color Max where the chrome will just not look right.

Re: Reply

I personally like the red/clears better. Just a personal opinion, no offense or anything. They just look too big(circles) and it reminds me of those honda civics and integras.. Well, everyone has different taste, so enjoy your lights.

Nothing is impossible. I'm looking into getting the red lens removed from the housing and custom molded to the rear. From what the shop told me, "it's no big deal, won't be that much too do..." I'll be taking my car in sometime next week for an estimate as well as an estimate on a accord=>maxima bodykit conversion. Hope the price is right.
