I looked in the FAQ's and im sure this has been asked and answered 100s of times, but do the 97-99 taillights on ebay fit a 95 se?

 

I don't think they fit b/c of the trunk.

 

not a direct fit, no. Theoretically you could do it with some modification, but I wouldn't suggest it.

 

I believe the outers will bolt up, but the inners aren't the same. I think you have to change to a 97-99 trunk lid to get everything to match up.

buy a 97-99 max trunk and get the gen 2's like mine. i love the LEDs.

 

too much hassle for just a pair of tail-lights.

Red-Clears...

 

97-99 Tail lights ( outer ones) fit on a 95-96 with NO modifications.. the only difference is the bottome part of the lights BEVEL OUT, so it's not flush when the bottom of the lights meet the bumper..

The Inner tails of a 97-99 will NOT fit the 95-96. the Trunk has to be swapped.

 

yea.. to add..if you notice..97+ tails are flat..while the 95,96 have the little curve in em..

 

doesn't the bumper have to be swapped too?
